Further events postponed, registration for K 2022 starts

With the pandemic still on our agenda, further postponements have been announced by trade fair organisers.

Ami have decided to postpone the European versions of Plastics Recycling World Expo, Compounding World Expo, Plastics Extrusion World Expo, and Polymer Testing World Expo to 29-30 September 2021, originally scheduled for June in Essen, Germany.

Messe MuenchenSouth Africa, presenters of food & drink technology (fdt) Africa, analytica Lab Africa, and IFAT Africa, are gearing up to present the three events in a mega co-located trade show at the end of this year. The three events, traditionally co-located to give industry stakeholders access to networking and markets across integrated sectors, have been rescheduled from mid-2021, and will be hosted in South Africa on November 2-4.

The organisers of Plast – International Exhibition for Plastics and Rubber Industries – has decided to postpone the event to a future date to be determined, but “certainly after the end of 2021”. The current situation and the impossibility of envisaging future options with any reasonable degree of confidence make it impossible to adequately plan and organise an international event of the stature of Plast, the organiser states. The new dates will be determined in the coming weeks.

On the bright side, registration documents for K 2022 are available with immediate effect. The show is scheduled for 19 to 26 October 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The deadline for registration for all the companies wishing to participate in K 2022 is 21 May 2021.
