The Italian company’s market focus is on large formats. It produces a line of machines with one to five cavities, which can blow containers up to 30l capacity and wide-mouth con- tainers with diameters up to 180mm. It will be showing equip- ment for the beverage sector that are capable of 24,000bph output with one to 16-cavity blow-moulding machines, as well as machines configured with Heat Set technology. Siapi will be showing applications of its new HandleMatic system, which applies handles during or immediately after the blowing stage. It will also be exhibiting a number of solutions for conversion from HDPE to PET in large formats. Colorants, additives and fluoropolymer colours ColorMatrix will present a number of new develop- ments, including a selection of PET additives and a pio- neering fibre delustrant, which is claimed to enhance PET fibre quality while improving processing efficiencies. Its new Optica PET resin toners and Joule RHB re-heat addi- tives, which are intended to improve long-term recyclabil- ity of PET containers, reduce industrial energy costs, cut colorant waste and inventory levels and improve aesthet- ics, even in recycled resin products. The company’s Colorant Chromatics division will be showcasing a new range of reinforced fluoropolymer com- pounds, engineered for improved impact strength. Also on the stand will be the latest ColorMatrix colour-matching technology, which enables customers to select and order accurately-matched colours online and achieve rapid response time.
