It automati- cally adjusts blow moulder settings to maintain bottle distri- bution and blowmoulder operation. PETWall Profiler provides real-time, cavity-correlated data on thickness distribution and blowmoulder perform- ance plus random defect detection over the entire body of the container. Agr’s new OptiCheck multi-camera inspection system offers comprehensive sidewall, label and seal surface defect detection as well as laboratory-precision finish gaug- ing on-line. Also on the stand will be the PPT3000 Packag- ing Pressure Tester; Gawis OD automated laboratory test system and demonstrations of Agr’s Combi Tester, which performs both volume and top load testing. More cavities, lower clamping force Netstal-Maschinen AG will be showing a new ver- sion of its PET-Line 2000 platform, operating with 60 cavities at 2,000kN clamping force. Previously, 60-cavity machines required 3,500kN clamping; the new product will demonstrate the production of 15g, 0.5l preforms at a cycle time of nine seconds – 24,000/h. Netstal says that this development offers shorter cycle times without higher energy consumption or increased machine footprint.
