The stretching rod with electro-mechanical control allows stretching speed to be adapted at any time to the type of bottle being processed, regardless of machine speed. The SBF can be integrated upstream with PAM (Pre-form Advanced Moulding), Sacmi’s system for producing com- pressed preforms. Bottling machines can then be installed downstream from the machine. Sacmi’s CCM80S compression moulding machine is claimed to be capable of producing 2000 pieces a minute with a cycle time of 2.4s. Also on the stand are the CBF12 (Compression Blow Forming) machine, which performs plas- tic transformation based on continuous resin extrusion; and a CHS cap inspector. Complete injection moulding solutions Husky will be exhibiting its complete solutions for the bev- erage packaging, closures, medical and food packaging mar- kets and will be demonstrating technologies and equipment designed to raise performance and quality, reduce waste and lower energy consumption. UltraSync plate actuation, Pronto configurable systems and integrated Altanium temperature controllers will all be on display. Shotscope NX, Husky’s process and production moni- toring software, will also be demonstrated live on the stand. Husky will be showing its Services portfolio, which is designed to help customers optimise equipment perform- ance achieve low total lifetime part costs. Encore is a new program designed to help customers maximize the useful life of existing Husky equipment. Pro-Act, a flexible maintenance program targeted at improving asset availability and perform- ance, will also be demonstrated. Sacmi Imola S.C.
