In 2011 further growth in sales is expected, especially in foods (spices, peanut butter, spreads, dressings, etc.) where PET is increasingly replacing glass. But as the markets grow, results and profits – according to Marcel Schröder - will presumably be under pressure. Markets PET Power serves the three fol- lowing trading branches: Pharmaceu- tical, exclusively for extreme clean room production, cosmetics and foods. Pharmaceutical is core busi- ness.Substantial growth is expected in foods. In plastics production even the smallest metal fragments can have far-reaching consequences.
