This facility, initially opened in 1966 for polyester fibre pro- duction, was later converted into a PET polymer batch production plant, with a yearly output of 70,000t. Production has been halted since the end of 2010. The agreed value for the sale is €5.6 million, to be paid between 2011 and 2015. The sales value may increase, depending on the company’s productivity during this period. It is intended that the plant should commence production, saving a number of direct and indirect jobs. The transac- tion continues LSB’s ongo- ing process of divestment of non-strategic assets, under its 2009 restructuring plan. The Potalegre plant does not con- form with LSB’s future strategy in terms of technology, location and size. www.laseda.es Husky names Su Taylor Vice President, Human Resources and Organisational Development Husky Injection Molding Systems has announced the appointment of Su Taylor to the position of Vice President, Human Resources and Organisational Development.
