ON site 50 PET planet insider Vol. 16 No. 11/15 www.petpla.net Amut Group boots technical service in Vietnam and Indonesia In August 2015 Amut confirms the establishment of new technical service points in Vietnam and Indonesia boosting and consolidating an onsite support to the existing and potential customers. This strategy has been followed because of the good results achieved in the extrusion and thermoforming field in the South-Eastern Asian area. Amut has a good reputation in these countries and the last model of thermoforming machine has hit the mark: the AMP 850 GP delivers particular light Aqua Cups ideal to comply the specific exigencies of these markets, such as a volume of 220ml and a weight of barely 2.5gr. Amut Group secured two important projects in Indone- sia with the in-line version of this model, fitting the standard tests for filling and sealing water cups and with an output of 96.000 pcs/hour. Reduction of power and compressed air consumptions is proven. This met the response from the Vietnam area, too. After two months from the presentation of the VPK-C84 3-stations thermoforming machine during the last Chinaplas show, Amut has finalised two contracts in Vietnam: one for a AMP630 thermoforming machine for the production of PP cups (Ø 85 mm) and the other for a VPK-C84 delivering PP and PET lids with diameter 85mm and 95mm. www.amutgroup.com
