The LSS8 is an all- electric machine, driven by servo motors. Management of these motors in the very short cycle times typical of bottle production is provided by a European-standard control system, which syn- chronises all servo activities. Integrated energy recovery allows braking energy to be used by other systems within the machine, helping to reduce overall consump- tion. The Industry 4.0/Fourth Industrial Revolution land- scape is characterised by increased machine moni- toring and data collection. Chumpower’s Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) sys- tem’s sensors collect data and perform analytics aimed at improved operational maintenance.
