The 1XXL, option “Y” is a machine designed for the production of large containers of 5, 10, 20 and up to 30 L, in PET or rPET, in an optimised configuration. One machine, two formats 1XXL “Y” has been designed for flexible production:  1-cavity blowing for 12, 20L (5-gallon), and up to 30 L containers  2-cavity blowing for 5, 10, and up to 12 L formats Each mode features its own dedicated preform feeding system, enabling smooth transitions between formats without any loss in output or compromise in performance. The 1XXL “Y” is equipped with a powerful heating system, capable of blowing both deposit-return and reusable bottles as well as single-use bottles, according to the company. This versatility enables a broader range of applications to be handled with a single machine. The 1XXL “Y” is claimed to open up new production possibilities across various sectors such as water (fountains, jugs, carboys…), vegetable oils or beer in PET keg formats. Designed with compactness, ergonomics, and energy efficiency in mind, the blowing machine provides wide, unobstructed access to the mould area, simplifying maintenance and format changes. Its movements are driven by servo motors, ensuring precision and better speed control. It also features a system for recovering both blowing air and electrical energy generated during braking phases, contributing to optimised consumption. Remote connectivity further allows real-time monitoring and simplified maintenance. www.1blow.com Fast, efficient, and compact quality control BBull Technology is introducing a range of quality control systems that cover all key inspection points - from fill level and labelling to seam and closure - designed to operate within minimal space requirements. With its QLM solution, a sample batch passes automatically through a bypass line where inspections such as seam and weight checks are carried out. Each container is linked to a specific filling and capping unit, allowing full traceability and reintegration into the production process. The new IMAGE 360 GII system enables full 360° inspection of labels, surface defects, and codes. An optional module can be added for top-down closure and logo inspection. Using AI-based image recognition, the BBULL DL system classifies damaged, dirty, or incorrect bottles without the need for manual parameter setup in the empty crate. This simplifies deployment and allows the setup to be easily transferred to other lines with similar formats. The newly integrated PULSE solution measures internal pressure in cans and single-use PET containers using a compact sensor cell.
