The company was originally founded in Montabauer, Germany in1965 and today it has 31 plants in 18 countries and employs more than 5,700 people.

  • 2000's - Aquisition of: ARCOR, VillPET, P&E Verpackungen GmBH, G-PLAS, Witt Plastics, Greenway Plastics, RIFLEX PMC Film and Waytek Corporation
  • Greenfield sites built: Beaver, Rayong, Santo Tirso and Suzhou
  • 2012 - kp acquired by a group of investors led by Strategic Value Partners, LLC
  • 2015 - kp’s 50th anniversary
