History
CHT was founded in 1953 by Mr Reinhold Beitlich in Tübingen, Germany as a specialty chemical supplier for the complete textile chain. 1983 CHT was transformed into a foundation (Beitlich Family Foundation & Reinhold Beitlich Social Foundation). In the 2000s diversification was expanded with the establishment of the construction, performance chemicals and textile care business areas. The application field Recycling started in the year 2008/2009. Today still 85 % of sales are made with chemicals for the textile industry.
