drinktec is the world's leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food sector. On show at this fair in Munich, Germany, is the entire production and process chain in the sector, from raw materials and ingredients, to manufacturing, filling, packaging, logistics and marketing. The figures for drinktec 2013 speak for themselves: 132,000 square meters of exhibition space, 1,400 exhibitors from 76 countries and approx. 67,000 visitors from 183 countries. drinktec is firmly rooted and connected within the sector. The visitors come from all segments of the industry. And it has strong support from the Advisory Board and a range of important partners.

The whole sector worldwide comes together on the five days of drinktec. The exhibitors put on a broad and well structured display of products and services from and for all segments. All sizes of company are here—global players, national technology leaders as well as SMEs. 95 percent of all the visitors particularly like the fact that the market leaders are here, 98 percent appreciate the show's in-depth coverage of the market. And the exhibitors see that enthusiasm reflected in their success, because: 52 percent of the exhibitors sign up new business at the show, 82 percent report good follow-on business, and 93 percent of them conclude that drinktec was worthwhile for them.
