= Products/Technology =
Starlinger recycling technology offers a wide range of innovative recycling machinery solutions for a variety of applications such as film, sheet, fibers, non-woven, raffia, tapes, bottles, preforms, and post-consumer waste.

==== History ====
'''Starlinger PET recycling systems''' produce food-safe r-PET in a process that has been approved for use in food applications by many brand owners as well as various national and international authorities such as the FDA (Food and Drug Administration, USA) and EFSA (European Food Safety Authority). The business unit Starlinger viscotec specializes in PET and HDPE decontamination technology and provides equipment for the decontamination and IV increase of PCR flakes and pellets. The technology guarantees food-grade material that meets FDA and EFSA standards and can be used directly in the production of food packaging.
Starlinger was founded in 1835 under the name of Franz Laubek. In 1897, under the management of Franz Starlinger, the company changed its production to textile machinery, particularly machines for making passementerie – fringes, trims, braiding.
In 1913 the company was registered with the authorities as Starlinger & Co. 2002 saw a change of generations in the Starlinger management, with [[Angelika Huemer]] taking over as managing partner in her parents’ enterprise.

=== References ===
