CCFEI - China International Recycled Polyester and PET Packaging Conference & Exhibition.

Annual R-PET event in China.

Senior officials from related government institutions, R-PET fiber makers, flake suppliers, equipment suppliers (washing, sorting and injecting), consumers (BGPET, film and beverage makers, etc.) and traders will gather again to share opinions of challenges and perspective of R-PET and packaging markets. It will provide valuable opportunities for players of the two sectors to enhance relationship with each other.

In 2015, the conference had more than 400 representatives from leading enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions, including Anshun Science & Technology, Best Fiber, China resources, Cixi Jiangnan, Coca-Cola, Far Eastern Industry, Haiyan Haili, Hengyi PC, Nestle, Ningbo Dafa, NongFu Spring, PepsiCo, Sanxing Paper, Shanghai Zijiang, Suntory, Wahaha, Wankai New Materials, Yongxing Plastics & Chemical Fibers. The exhibition attached with the event was also attended by 34 exhibitors from home and overseas, with their advanced technology achievements and equipments.

Polyester demand from packaging is growing fast in China, indicating huge potentiality of the market. Nevertheless, with fast expansion scheduled for 2016, China’s BGPET, and PET film industry as well are again facing the danger of oversupply after enjoying higher integrity and profit margin in the past two years. Meanwhile, there is also worry about RMB depreciation, which seems adding extra costs rather than benefiting export.
