Company Profile
Circularix is a pioneering manufacturer in the recycled plastics industry and produces food grade post-consumer PET (rPET). By providing high quality recycled material, Circularix helps brands to achieve their sustainability goals, which means means less waste, less resource extractions, and less carbon emissions.
Circularix acknowledges that recycling is the responsible solution to consumption. With only 5 % of all plastics recycled annually in the United States, Circularix fills a large gap. The company is committed to provide a technologically advanced and economically viable alternative to hydrocarbon-based virgin PET by focusing on Recycled PET. The material produced is a contribution to achieve circularity while preserving natural resources for future generations.
Through new state-of-the-art facilities, technologies, and equipment, Circularix is fully invested and committed to make an impact in preserving resources and reducing the carbon footprint from PET bottle production.
In 2022 HPC Industries LLC and Macquarie Group’s Commodities and Global Markets group (Macquarie) formed a joint venture to produce recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET). Under the name Circularix, the venture’s plans and operates five recycling facilities across the U.S. with a total annual production capacity of more than 275 million pounds of rPET resin.
