This market survey presents suppliers of PET resins for the manufacture of preforms and bottles. The table shows the companies' ranges of bottle grade PET for different specifications:

  • IV range applications (water, CSD, beer, wine/liquors, personal care/pharmaceuticals)
  • PET resins with slow crystallization, resins for hot-fill applications, pre-coloured resins, fast reheat products.
  • For the different challenges of protection of sensitive products, increased barrier properties of PET resin are being offered by some of the suppliers.
  • With increasing demand for bottle grade rPET, some of the suppliers offer rPET blends, which are also listed in the table.
