New trade fair for the food-, beverage and packaging industry in South America: Messe München and ABIMAQ to launch INTECHTRA in 2020
Messe München with its subsidiary Messe München do Brasil won the bidding for a new trade fair for the food-, beverage-and packaging-industries: INTECHTRA will be held for the first time fromSeptember 29 till October 2, 2020. The show takes place biannually at the São Paulo Expo. ABIMAQ, together with their Sectorial Chamber of Machines for the Food, Pharmaceutical, and Industrial Refrigeration Industries (CSMIAFRI) support the organizer Messe München do Brasil with their expertise, thus shaping the new show according to the needs of the industry.
The show takes place in Brazil, one of the top 10 global economies. In South America, revenuesin the food and beverage market are expected to show an annual growth rate of nine percent, resulting in a market volume of 622 million US Dollar by 2023 (Source: Statista). Correspondingly the demand for solutions for processing, automation and packagingis rising. National and international exhibitors in the segments bottling and packaging technologies, packaging materials and PET, process technology and automation, components, raw materials, ingredients, additives, as well as logistic solutions will show their innovations. The main targeted visitor groups, coming from the whole of South America, range from food and beverage, confectionary and bakery to non-foods, as well as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial commodities.
