On April 24, three companies have revealed their secrets and reported exclusively on their trade fair highlights and expectations! After the introduction to the NPE trade show by Ms Damaris Piraino, Senior Director, Trade Show Marketing from Plastics Industry Association, PETplanet was very pleased to welcome Sandrine Reboux, Avient. Sandrine talked about design for recyclability and Avient’s colour prediction service, Avient’s product carbon footprint calculator, and give a view of some brief NPE highlights. PETplanet also warmly welcomed Scott Heins from Intravis Inc. Scott joined live from the USA and talked about the 6 inspection systems on site at NPE, various applications for the inspection of preforms, closures, bottles and labels. And last but not least, Paolo De Nardi from Sipa shared his expertise in design and manufacturing, with a focus on efficiency and sustainability in PET packaging production. Paolo De Nardi, Product Manager Stretch-Blow Moulding at Sipa

Paolo De Nardi received a degree in Materials Engineering in Padua University in 2003.  He has joined SIPA in the same year. He has over 18 years experience in packaging development and machine development in industrial goods production. His functional experience includes R&D, product development as well as sales and marketing. In his current position as product manager he manages new developments on both linear and rotary stretch blow moulding. As well he manages the packaging development team, to optimise beverage bottles and innovate special containers.
