Americhem plant expansion
Americhem, a globally recognised designer and manufacturer of custom colour masterbatch, functional additives, engineered compounds, and performance technologies, has announced the expansian of their Morrisville, PA, USA plant.
The 60,000 sq. ft. expansion will include an isolated 20,000 sq. ft. “Clean Compounding” room that will house up to six new compounding lines. This clean environment, coupled with Americhem’s already existing ISO 13485 Certification, Formulation Control, Change Management Procedures and Regulatory Support Documentation, is intended to give Americhem Engineered Compounds unique capabilities to produce compounds that meet the most stringent Medical Device requirements. A new Customer Center is also included in the expansion to facilitate technical meetings.
