Carrying strap for containers
Verpa Folie Weidhausen GmbH pursued with the development of a new type of carrier strap based on PE material in combination with a PE-based shrink film the basis for a single-variety packaging solution that is both clearly sortable and recyclable. Thanks to this solution, the flexible beverage container packaging with Verpalin container carrying strap can flow into the recyclable material cycle and thus contribute to sustainability, both in the economic and ecological overall chain.
The company with its headquarters in Weidhausen, Germany, took part in the PackTheFuture Award 2020 with its Verpalin container carrying strap and has been awarded in the Ecodesign category.
