A new Vice President and General Manager for Arol North America
Arol North America Inc. announces the retirement of Mr. Steve Locker as of the beginning of 2021. Effective January 1st, Mr. Benedito Pinto assumed the role of General Manager and Vice President.
Mr. Locker joined Arol in 2003 and his hard work, commitment, unconditional dedication, and knowledge of the industry were essential to the group’s growth and success in the North American market. Mr. Locker will remain with the Arol Group, supporting specific commercial projects with his great experience.
Mr. Pinto has worked for 26 years in the packaging machinery industry, climbing the professional ladder from project engineer to branch management. Commercially focused executive of the packaging machinery industry with international working experience, for the last 14 years with Arol Group, he was responsible for expanding the group’s market share in Canada and the successfully start-up Arol Latin America.
Arol North America serves all the USA customers of: Arol Closure System, experienced in the design, manufacture and distribution of capping equipment, feeding and cap orientation machines; Maca Engineering, specialist in designing and manufacturing machines for the production, assembly and cut of aluminium and plastic caps and closures; Unimac-Gherri, specialist in filling and capping of glass, metal and plastic containers with twist-off and pre-threaded caps for dense, semi dense and pasty products; and Tirelli, focused on packaging equipment for the cosmetics industry.
