Drink Technology India 2021 is right ahead
Drink Technology India (DTI), India’s leading event for the beverage and food industry, will start this week. On December 2-4, 2021, the trade show will be hosted as physical event at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat State.
Originally scheduled for October 20-22, the organisers from Messe München had to reschedule and relocate the event from its former location at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai to Gandhinagar as the BEC had been converted into a vaccination centre. Furthermore the organisers felt that postponing the event could offer all participants a better long-term planning for their attendance during the Covid-19 situation.
Apart from diverse participation options, such as online, physically or hybrid the relocation shall ensure a safe environment for exhibitors, visitors and stakeholders, according to DTI’s management. Mr. Bhupinder Singh, CEO, Messe Muenchen India, said: “Considering the current pandemic situation, December seems to be a viable option to conduct our trade fairs. It further enables us to provide a new platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet each other face-to-face and online and get back to business in a conducive and safe environment.”
Western India and Gujarat have always been lucrative business hubs for the beverage and food industry which substantiates Messe München India’s decision for this step.
DTI will be co-located with World Tea & Coffee Expo, The Smarter E India and IFAT India to give industry stakeholders access to networking and markets across integrated sectors. World Tea & Coffee Expo is dedicated show focusing on tea, coffee and allied industry. The Smarter E India presents cross-sector energy solutions and technologies and reflects the interaction of the solar, energy storage and electric mobility industry. IFAT India is India’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, solid waste and recycling.
