FlexBlow steps into single-stage stretch blow moulding industry
FlexBlow, the manufacturer of flexible stretch blow moulding machines, introduces a new product line that expands companies’ range of packaging solutions from two-stage to single-stage SBM market segment. With the launch of Special Preforms, FlexBlow upscaled its’ complete solutions to the next level – from choosing the material, additives and developing custom preforms to providing SBM equipment for the widest neck and size range container manufacturing.
“The flexibility of our all-on-one machines gained huge interest from the single-stage blow moulding users. Therefore, it was a natural step for us to deliver the solution that would provide maximum freedom for packaging manufacturers in every stage – from pellets to containers and highest quality bottles”, says FlexBlow CEO Gintautas Maksvytis.
Special preforms can be designed and engineered from the widest choice of material, colour, additives, and geometry. The company develops customised PET, rPET, PP, biodegradable preforms, and stock PET preforms that are affordable for niche projects. FlexBlow engineers special preforms for hot-fill technology, light-weighting projects, conversion from glass or HDPE to PET, and constantly innovates to implement special applications or any other customers’ ideas.
FlexBlow has invested around 5 million euros in expanding packaging R&D capabilities and custom preform prototyping capacities. Alongside long-term know-how in container engineering, in-house mould manufacturing, and dedicated prototyping infrastructure, the introduction of Special Preforms is one more step to ensure top-quality packaging.
