New developments are synonymous with everyday routine
PET Technologies Hall B5 – 332
PET Technologies will present the latest generation of the APF-Max PET stretch blow-moulding machine. The wide model range allows the production of bottles from 100 ml up to 8 l, with neck finishes up to 120 mm. The output is up to 14,000 bph. The modular concept of the APF-Max 3U makes it possible, for example, to produce a 300 ml and a 7 l bottle on the same machine. The APF-Max blow-moulding machine is equipped with the special short-wave near-infrared (NIR) heating system. According to PET Technologies, the advantages of the NIR heating system for PET bottle production are:
Uniform temperature distribution between the inner and outer parts of the preform wall
- Shorter heating time
- Compact size of the heater
- Lower energy consumption of the blow moulding machine.
Mould making
PET Technologies will also exhibit rotary blow moulds. The 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres make it possible to obtain a glossy mould surface. In 2022, PET Technologies acquired another Mikron Mill S600U with a spindle speed of 42,000 rev/min. This machine tool eliminates the need for additional polishing of the blow mould surface. It enables the company to reduce the blow mould lead time to 2-3 weeks and to double production capacity.
PET bottle design
With attractive and technological bottle design, PET Technologies helps its customers to combine light weight with high resistance, sophisticated decorative elements and appropriate blow moulding properties.
