Evelyne De Leersnyder to become new Managing Director of Coca-Cola GmbH in Germany
Evelyne De Leersnyder will take on the role of Vice President of Franchise Operations Germany, Denmark and Finland for The Coca-Cola Company on April 1, 2023, and with it the management of Coca-Cola GmbH in Germany. Currently, the Belgian native serves as Chief of Staff to President of Europe for The Coca-Cola Company.
De Leersnyder has been with the company for 14 years and began her career in the Technical Team in Belgium. She then moved into Franchise Operations, led the marketing team in Denmark and Iceland, drove the commercial agenda in Austria and was General Manager in Bulgaria. As Marketing Director Area North, she was passionate about successfully building the teams in the UK, Ireland and Northern European countries.
Prior to joining Coca-Cola, De Leersnyder worked for the management consultancy Bain & Company, where she was responsible for transformation and private equity projects in the FMCG sector. De Leersnyder holds a master’s degree in engineering and an MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and France.
The current Managing Director of Coca-Cola GmbH, Bjorn Jensen, moves to Vienna as Vice President Operations & General Manager for the Central Europe Region for the Coca-Cola Company on April 1st. Jensen’s long and varied career with Coca-Cola began back in 1991 in his home country of Norway. Since then, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in finance, marketing operations, strategic planning, business development and general management.
