Petcore Europe announces a new Executive Director
On Thursday, 23rd of November 2023, Petcore Europe announced that Roberto Bertaggia has been appointed as Executive Director. He replaces Martin Stephan, who previously served in the role.
Roberto Bertaggia has spent over 30 years of his career in managing both complex contractual sales and coordination roles. He has deep experience across the PET industry including recycling technologies, regulatory and business development. Moreover, he is a Past President of Petcore Europe, serving in the post back in 2017.
Commenting on his appointment Roberto Bertaggia reinforced the company’s responsibility to operate in compliance with sustainability concepts and to also proactively offer solutions. “Petcore Europe has a major role to play in coordinating efforts and resources to achieve the required targets and I am looking forward to providing my contribution too.”, he stated.
