PlastiVation announced strategic and personnel changes
After a remarkable three-year journey marked by transformative growth, PlastiVation’s founder and CEO, Bengt Schmidt, has made the decision to step down from his role. It is planned to fill the position of Managing Director internally.
Schmidt’s tenure has been characterized by the company’s evolution from a promising German mechanical engineering start-up to a distinguished entity within the plastics industry. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering PlastiVation’s reputation for excellence, earning accolades from customers, partners, and industry peers alike.

In tandem with Schmidt’s departure, PlastiVation Machinery GmbH is poised to undergo a change in ownership, aligning with Tederic Machinery as an independent entity. This transition marks a pivotal moment in PlastiVation’s trajectory, opening doors to new opportunities for growth and innovation.
The position of Managing Director will be filled internally, with a decision anticipated imminently. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to seamless leadership succession and uninterrupted operational excellence.
