Maca Engineering will expand its offering with the acquisition of MST – Lamfi.
Maca Engineering S.r.l. – a key player in the design and construction of machines for the production and assembly of aluminium and plastic caps and closures – has signed an agreement for the acquisition of MST Equipment S.r.l., a Tuscan company specialized for over 75 years in the production of lining and assembly machines for multiple types of plastic closures, under the Lamfi brand. The finalization of the operation and the transfer of the majority shares is expected in the coming weeks.
With this strategic acquisition, Maca Engineering aims to further expand its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in the market of machines to produce plastic and aluminium caps. The integration of MST Equipment S.r.l.’s technologies and resources will enable Maca Engineering to offer even more innovative and competitive solutions, enhancing the expertise of both companies.
Today, Maca Engineering can count on more than 50 employees and more than 1000 machines installed worldwide, to which the over 800 machines of Lamfi are added.
