New partnership expands machine portfolio
Techlong International Inc (TLI)., located in Suwanee, Georgia, USA, is the exclusive distributor for PET beverage packaging lines of the Chinese machine manufacturer Tech-Long Packaging Machinery Co. Ltd. in North America, South America and Europe. The Americans have been working with Tech-Long, based in the city of Guangzhou, since 2012 and say they have installed turnkey beverage packaging lines with equipment such as PET stretch blow moulding machines, fillers, cappers, conveyors, labellers, wrappers and palletisers in more than 80 countries around the world. At the NPE in Orlando, the company announced its cooperation with Guangzhou Jeepine Intelligent Compression Moulding Machine Co. Ltd. as its exclusive new sales and service partner for cap manufacturing systems in North and South America for the first time at its stand S10079. One of Jeepine’s cap machines, namely a CCM-JP48 with an hourly output of 60,000 caps, has been exhibited at the show booth.
According to Techlong Int., more than 500 Jeepine cap compression machine systems have already been installed for customers worldwide who sell or use caps in the beverage, dairy, alcohol, edible oil, pharmaceutical and daily chemical industries. The machines operate in China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India, Indonesia and Korea and through the partnership with Techlong Int. Jeepine now has an established distribution partner in North and South America. The range of models includes systems capable of producing up to 100,000 closures per hour.
Keith Boss, CEO of Techlong Int., explained that the addition of this product to the Techlong portfolio is a natural fit. “We sell and service PET bottle making and PET filling and packaging machines. It is only logical that we also offer our customers a machine for producing bottle caps. The Jeepine machine meets our quality standards. Our service organisation in Atlanta, Georgia, will support this product with a spare parts warehouse and technicians.”
