Avient showcases polymer recycling solutions at the Plastics Recycling LATAM Conference
Avient Corporation, a provider of specialised materials solutions and services, announces its participation in the Plastics Recycling LATAM Conference, emphasising its commitment to sustainability and dedication to enabling recyclability for its customers. This annual two-day conference gathers key leaders, innovators, and experts in the plastics recycling industry in Latin America (LATAM) to discuss plastics recycling trends, environmental regulations, sustainable packaging options, and more.
Avient will showcase its sustainable portfolio of polymer colourants, additives, and services at the conference. This includes Cesa Nox A4R Additives for Enhanced Recycling, Avient’s Color Prediction Service, which digitally illustrates the possibilities of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content in solutions, and ColorMatrix SmartHeat liquid dispersion process aids, which can improve the recyclability of PET bottles.
Avient says that its sustainability initiatives and progress toward its 2030 sustainability goals have been recognised by influential third-party organisations, including earning a Gold certification from Ecovadis, which recognises a commitment to sustainability, ethics, and responsible business practices.
Avient will exhibit at the Plastics Recycling LATAM Conference from September 10-11 at Stand 603 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, Mexico. Visitors are also invited to attend a seminar by Liliana Morales, Business Development Manager LATAM at Avient, on “Design for and from Recycling” on September 11 at 11:30 p.m.
