New blow moulding machine, moulds & more

PET Technologies – Hall 7 | Booth 646

PET Technologies will unveil its latest linear blow moulding machine, the APF-Max 2L, making its public debut at Brau Beviale. This machine represents the newest advancement in the APF-Max series. This series incorporates NIR heating technology that is claimed to enhance efficiency.

The APF-Max 2L can produce bottles with unique volumes, allowing for the blowing of containers up to 3 l, as opposed to the standard 2 l offered by earlier models. This machine achieves high productivity, capable of producing up to 3,500 bph. The machine’s energy-efficient heating system minimises electricity consumption through preferential heating techniques, says PET Technologies. Attendees can expect to see the machine in operation, providing a firsthand experience of its capabilities.

In addition to the APF-Max 2L, visitors to PET Technologies’ stand will have the opportunity to view a selection of blow moulds manufactured in-house. This display will feature a range of intricate and unconventional designs, showcasing complex shapes, detailed engravings, and unique textures. These blow moulds are produced using advanced 5-axis CNC machining centres and are designed to perform for both rotary and linear machines. Built for durability, the moulds are crafted to deliver accuracy and consistency in production.

The stand will also highlight an array of PET bottle designs developed by PET Technologies over its 25-year history, illustrating the company’s commitment to innovation within the industry. The company offers a comprehensive turn-key solution for bottle design, which includes conducting market research and analysing global trends, developing branding elements such as product names, logos, and labels, modifying existing bottle shapes to adapt to market needs, and providing precise 2D drawings and 3D renders of PET bottles.
