“We are delighted to receive this recognition from EcoVadis, which reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Craig Pope, Managing Director, Continental Europe. “Through the hard work of the team over the last few years we have brought our score up from a Bronze to a Platinum in an increasingly hard-fought category. At Petainer, sustainability is not just a goal, it is at the core of everything we do—from the innovative design of our single use and reusable PET packaging solutions to the practices we employ in our operations. This achievement reinforces our dedication to creating products that reduce waste, minimise carbon footprints, and promote a circular economy. It is testament to the hard work of the team over the last year to implement the correct practices and lead by example.”

Petainer Aš has been committed to reducing its environmental impact. The factory was moved across to 100% renewable energy in 2019, cutting emissions substantially. Further 25% of all resin purchased in 2024 was recycled content showcasing both expertise in converting recycled content, but also commitment to our customers to bring down their carbon footprint.
