Expansion of tethered cap range
New 38 mm variant and laser-marked decoration
Building on its early commitment to tethered-cap technology, Istanbul-based Has Plastik has now completed a comprehensive range of tethered closures already proven in the market. With multiple hinge designs, compatibility options, and smart decoration features, the company ensures that its customers remain compliant and line-ready ahead of EU regulations.
Has Plastik’s tethered cap range is now fully established in the market, covering neck finishes 1881, 29/25, and 26 mm GME30.40, with a 38 mm variant to follow shortly. Reflecting the company’s engineering versatility, each size can be produced with two different active hinge designs, allowing customers to select the optimal opening performance for their product type and target market.

All closures are available with either a 120-knurl CSD look or a 24/120-knurl crown look, combining visual appeal with mechanical reliability.
For countries where tethered caps are not yet mandatory, Has Plastik offers the same closure designs without the hinge, enabling customers to remain tether-ready without having to modify their capping lines later. Once local legislation requires tethering, the same design can be switched seamlessly to the tethered version, says the company.
The new closures feature active hinge mechanisms that provide a smooth, user-friendly opening and closing experience. Their performance and durability have been approved by several major multinational beverage producers.
Adding to the technical performance, Has Plastik also provides advanced decoration and customisation options. In addition to conventional printing, caps can be laser-marked with QR codes, creating opportunities for messaging, promotions, and traceability.
