Review: PETinar Preview Brau Beviale 2023 – Special focus on PET blow moulds and machinery!

In order to produce a PET bottle that is perfectly tailored to customer requirements, the interaction between mould maker and machine manufacturer must be perfect. PETplanet was therefore pleased to present such a dream team: Olivier Perche, Sales Director at 1Blow, and Steffen Lühning, Sales Manager at Röders, presented their new solutions in mould making and machine manufacturing with a particular focus on energy saving. Thanks to their long-standing collaboration, they are familiar with the critical points and know which adjustments need to be made and when. Ruari McCallion, Editor at PETplanet, guided through the PETinar and moderated questions after the presentations by Olivier Perche and Steffen Lühning!

Olivier Perche is Sales Director at 1Blow since 2013, covering Sales in Europe + Africa + Australia + New Zealand. He has over 25 years’ experience in the packaging industry (packaging equipment for dry and liquid goods, food and non-food), which gives him the opportunity to establish long-term relations and confidence with customers and partners in the market.

Steffen Lühning, Sales Manager at Röders. Steffen joined Röders in 2010 and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2013. Since then, he has been taking care of further development of the Röders laboratory for PET bottles and has started his career as a Sales and project manager for blow moulds. Consulting customers already in the bottle design phase, sharing recommendations during mould engineering and supporting a new bottle project until the final product is available is part of his daily work. Based on the large experience of hundreds of projects, Steffen has a deep insight on energy saving projects through smart blow mould solutions.

Ruari McCallion, Event Moderator, Editor at PETplanet, has been writing on business matters, manufacturing especially, for over a quarter of a century.
