PRS Europe publishes full programme for 2025 Conference
The full conference programme for this year’s Plastics Recycling Show Europe, taking place at RAI Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 1-2 April 2025, has been published. The keynote session will include an address by Teresa Ribera Rodríguez, Executive Vice-President for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, European Commission. Marieke Koekkoek, Member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands, Volt Nederland will be joining the keynote session on the first day as well. More than 60 speakers covering all the key issues facing the plastic recycling value chain in Europe and beyond will set the scene in the event’s two theatres. Registration for the conference and exhibition is free until 1 March 2025 and will be charged at €50 thereafter.
Speakers representing major European and global brands include IKEA’s Raw Material Leader Plastics and Chemical, Therese Litsin; Aldi’s Global Circular Packaging Manager, Hannah Drew and Procter & Gamble’s Technical Director – R&D Packaging Sustainability, Gian De Belder.

This year, the two-day conference programme will take place in Halls 1 and 5 at RAI to welcome the increasing number of visitors. The programme includes core sessions on overcoming the challenges in EU plastic recycling, unlocking key legislative files for the sector such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and building synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling. Also covered in depth will be the market outlook as well as future challenges and trends in achieving recycled content goals.
Interactive panel discussions moderated by European plastics recycling experts will examine the global roadmap for plastics recycling, strategies to scale up collection and sorting, traceability in recycled content, and the latest innovations in recycling technologies. Dedicated materials focus sessions will tackle the state-of-play in the recycling of PET, polyolefin films, PVC, HDPE, PP, PS and ELV & WEEE.
