New collection of semi-translucent effect colourants
Ampacet Corporation has introduced HyperLustre, a collection of semi-translucent colourants developed as a TiO₂-free option for PET packaging. The colourants create a pearlescent visual effect and are intended for use in hair care, personal care and beauty applications.
According to Ampacet, the HyperLustre range can be processed with PET using blow moulding and injection stretch blow moulding (ISBM) technologies. The company states that the colourants achieve their appearance without traditional effect pigments. “With the HyperLustre Collection, designers can incorporate a sophisticated luxury aesthetic unlike any other effect currently in the market, without utilizing TiO2,” said Mercedes Landazuri, Ampacet Market Insight Manager.
Available in six versatile colour variants – Cloudstone, Fresh Lichen, Misty Petal, Papaya Breeze, Ocean Whisper, and Obsidian Glow – HyperLustre offers options inspired by ephemeral and natural elements.
