Clariant to sponsor Swiss Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015
Clariant is co-sponsoring the Swiss Pavilion at the Expo Milano 2015, taking place in Italy between May 1 – October 31, 2015.
The Expo’s theme ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life,’ links with Clariant’s contribution to improving nutrition through packaging and transportation solutions, and additives for agriculture, food and feed. Clariant’s decision to be a major sponsor of Expo Milano 2015 builds on the participation in the Shanghai Expo in 2010. The Expo is a global event which combines entertainment, interactive exhibitions and technologies in a cultural program designed to educate, share innovation and foster cooperation. Over 20 million visitors are expected at Expo Milano.
This year’s theme is particularly relevant to Clariant. As a specialty chemicals company, Clariant wants to add value to global challenges such as the world food situation. To address this particular topic, Clariant develops solutions that improve fertilizers, crop protection products, food packaging and transportation.
