Benevolent Recycling Materials Chain for PET Drinks Packs – Hall 4A booth 110
The Gütegemeinschaft Wertstoffkette PET-Getränkeverpackungen e.V. company will again be present this year at the largest German drinks fair, BrauBeviale, from 8 -10 November 2016, with its own stand. In addition, on 9 November 2016 at 14.00 hours, together with the IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen e.V. company and the AKÖG konsumenten- und ökologieorientierte Getränkeverpackungen e.V. (Association of Consumer- and Ecology-orientated Drinks Packing company), it is organising a series of talks within the BrauBeviale forum.
After an introduction to the work of the RAL (Quality Consortium) Gütegemeinschaft company by Andreas Normann, Chair of the benevolent company, current numbers about the rise and recycling of PET drinks bottles in Germany in 2015 will be given by Dr Isabell Schmidt (IK).
Stefanie Sabet, of the Federal Union for the German Nutrition Industry, will talk about the sustainability requirements in the nutrition industry, especially with packaging. The eco-balances expert Benedikt Kauertz, ifeu, will explain what eco-balances are in reality and how PET drinks packaging must be seen in this context. Finally, Tomas Hromjak, of Alpla Werke Alwin Lehner GmbH & Co KG, will report on the transformation of sustainability requirements into practice. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
