PET recycler Sorepla facing closure?
PET recycling company Sorepla, Neufchâteau, France had to appear in Epinal Commercial Court on April 19 to judge whether the company could continue its activities. According to French media, the case was postponed to May 10.
The company is looking for a buyer since several years. In 2013, the company already had to dismiss two dozen people. A company closure would affect 61 employees.
The waiting until May 10 is considered as a silver lining which could enable the management to find a buyer. The Veolia group is in discussion.
