R&D/Leverage partners with Btomec Brazil
In an effort to expand its ISBM/IBM (injection stretch blow mould/injection blow mould) business into Latin America, R&D/Leverage aligned itself with with Btomec in Brazil. The partnership follows the recent announcement of the partnership with Artis Matris to support the needs and demands for their preform moulds in South America. Btomec Tool and Precision Machining specialises in the manufacturing of moulds fue caps and closures, dual & tri components, medical devices, oral care, thin wall and optical transmission for over 33 years in the Brazilian market.
The newly developed partnership with Btomec is intended to allow R&D/Leverage’s ISBM/IBM moulds to be sold and supported locally within South America. In most cases, these moulds will be assembled in Brazil at Btomec’s location, supported by R&D/Leverage’s engineering and technical teams. The main advantage for the South American customers will be the ability to have excellent ISBM/IBM moulds at competitive prices, local support and the full access to R&D/Leverage’s tooling design and product development team in the USA, says the company.
