United Caps announces virtual event to share news and growth/sustainability updates
International manufacturer of caps and closures United Caps announced it will be conducting a virtual event in light of the many events which have been postponed or cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic chief amongst them Interpack 2020. United Virtually is scheduled for February 24-26, with seminars, videos and production presentations for the packaging industry.
“We’ve all seen many changes during this global pandemic,” said Benoit Henckes, CEO of United Caps. “One significant change, of course, is the cancellation or postponement of the in-person events we have all come to rely on as places to share information, learn about new products and network with our peers. While virtual events can never fully replace in-person events, United Virtually is designed as a virtual trade show utilising a modern and effective platform to provide seminars, videos and product presentations to the packaging industry.”
In addition to the presentations and materials available for download, including a white paper documenting the latest developments in United Caps’ tethered closure portfolio, the event will feature virtual trade show booths dedicated to key virtual segments within the industry, including beverages or edible oils, amongst others. Seminars, followed by live Q&A sessions, will also be conducted on such topics, tethered and infant nutrition closures, innovation and sustainability at United Caps, updates on our Dinnington facility and the company’s presence in Asia, and more.
