Amcor Rigid Plastics announces purchase of Eco-Groupe assets
Amcor Rigid Plastics USA, LLC has purchased the manufacturing assets and intellectual property of Eco-Groupe, Inc., a privately held preform manufacturing operation with four manufacturing sites in the United States. Amcor Rigid Plastics has also purchased a minority equity interest in EnKon, LLC, a woman-owned business enterprise affiliate of Eco-Groupe, Inc.
Eco-Groupe’s technology portfolio includes a modular moulding system called Viper, which allows for multiple size preforms to be injected simultaneously, and Eco-Pod, a mobile manufacturing system.
