Management changes within the Brückner Group

The German Brückner Group, a family-owned enterprise in the machine building industry, announces internal management changes.

Ludwig Eckart goes into retirement on March 31, 2016, after nearly 30 years in leading positions with the group company Brückner Maschinenbau, 15 of those as Managing Director Sales & Projects. His successor Helmut Huber, longtime Head of Project Management at the world market leader for film stretching lines, will take over responsibility as Managing Director on January 1, 2016. At the same time Uwe Thönniss, up to now Managing Director of the service provider Brückner Servtec, will become CEO of Brueckner Technology (Suzhou) in China. He will focus on the development of service, spare parts distribution, quality assurance and assembly capacities for all customers of the entire Brückner Group in China.

Markus Gschwandtner, former Sales Director of Brückner Maschinenbau, takes over his activities. One of his goals, amongst others, is to optimize the cooperation between Brückner Maschinenbau and Brückner Servtec, to offer the customers the best service during a film stretching line’s entire lifecycle.
