Petainer announces distributor relationship with Crusader in the UK
Petainer has announced that it has appointed Crusader as its UK distributor for petainerKeg.
Brett Lamont, Sales Director Distribution at Petainer said: “The appointment of Crusader as our UK distributor is another important step in building our global network of distribution partners for our products. We have chosen Crusader because they understand the brewery market very well and recognise that there is a huge opportunity for one-way PET kegs.”
Established five years ago, Crusader operates out of Sheffield and Preston, supplying over 800 breweries across the UK with steel kegs and casks, as well as exporting to over seven countries in Europe.
The petainerKeg is being used as a low-cost alternative to traditional steel kegs because it is claimed to offer cost of ownership and sustainability benefits. According to the company, it also provides enhanced product protection, making sure that the beer is as good as the day it was brewed for up to a year. The PET kegs are also safe and easy to handle due to their light weight.
