Finke at Fakuma 2015: Finke presents a broad range of products for coloring of plastics
Fibaplast masterbatches, pigment mixtures in thermoplastic polymer carrier material, are suitable for all areas of thermoplastic processing, particularly for injection moulding and extrusion applications. These masterbatches are developed to the color and material specifications of the customers. Numerous possible additives such as UV protective agents, anti-oxidants, antistatic agents, lubricants or additives for laser printing, open up a wide range of applications. Finke develops about 8,000 color shades and additives per year. Moreover, Fibaplast masterbatches are available in more than 200 standard colors from the RAL color system.
The Fibasol liquid dyes are particularly suitable for transparent colors. According to Finke the liquid binding agent does not impair the physical or chemical properties of the material in any way and is physiologically harmless. Fibasol dyes show a high temperature resistance, light-fastness and physiological safeness and can be combined with almost all thermoplastics, making used in food packaging and cosmetic packaging.
The powdery Wubalen dry pigments are among the first product innovations Finke brought into the market in the 1950ies and has continually improved since then. Based either on organic or inorganic pigments, they are dry, lowdust, pourable colorants with a high color intensity, good homogeneity. The Wubalen pigment mixtures are suitable for thermoplastic polymers and allow various special effects by means of special additives. They can be used in food packaging and textile applications.
