Taste of the future for soft drinks

With packaging now moving to the forefront of public attention, even though the new sugar content levies are just coming into force, this year’s UK Soft Drinks Conference on 3rd May in central London will address all the key issues of the moment. Its “Taste of the future” theme will focus on three main topics – health, sustainability and innovation.

Highlights of the event include: an overview of market trends and consumer needs from Kantar and Starcount, formerly Dunnhumby; industry leader perspectives from Britvic and Coca-Cola; and discussion on the environment and sustainability with Ecosurety, OPRL and the Packaging Collective.

The afternoon will look at a new opportunities presented by the Co-op, Innocent and Tranquini. There will also be a chance to hear from the next generation of beverage innovators during an entrepreneur shoot-out with start-ups Kineta Drinks, Natural Drinks Company and Nix & Kix.

New this year is a “Chiller Corner”, providing dedicated space in the networking area for registered delegates on a first come first served basis to showcase their new soft drinks products.
“In a world of dramatic change from Brexit to new technology, a specialised one day conference is the best possible way to become completely up to date on all the latest trends and challenges, hearing directly from industry leaders and experts,” commented Zenith Chairman Richard Hall. “The event provides an excellent opportunity to re-set company priorities and seek out new ways to ensure a healthy and sustainable future.”

The conference is organised by global food and drink experts Zenith in partnership with the British Soft Drinks Association and sponsored by leading industry suppliers Doehler and Saica Flex. Full programme details and online booking are available at:
