Company Profile

Gneuss Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a manufacturer of equipment for plastics processing and is based in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany. With over 30 years of experience, Gneuss has made a name for itself as a supplier of innovative solutions for the plastic processing industry. In addition to technologies, systems and components for plastics processing, Gneuss also offers complete turnkey solutions for the production of high quality sheet, fibres and pellets. With its daughter company in the USA, offices in Brazil and China, a cooperation partner in Japan and together with representatives worldwide, Gneuss is present throughout the world.

Products/Technology

Extrusion Technology

The Gneuss MRS Extruder offers new possibilities in the venting or devolatilization of polymer melts. It allows, for example, the processing of PET without pre-drying. Alternatively, this technology can also be used to introduce gases (for foamed products) or fillers / additives homogeneously into the melt.

Filtration Technology

The patented Rotary Filtration Systems and screen changers enable fully automatic, process and pressure constant filtration. They can be used in virtually any application. The self-cleaning RSFgenius e.g. is particularly well suited for ultra-fine filtration, the filtration of thermally-sensitive melts and the filtration of materials with a high contamination level.

Measurement Technology

Gneuss Melt Pressure and Temperature Sensors are characterized by their extremely high precision, combined with a high degree of robustness. Gneuss offers a “made to measure” service for custom made sensors for many applications with fast lead times.

Jump Technology

The Jump poly reactor reprocesses PET industrial and post-consumer waste to high value products. With the IV booster Jump, the IV value of the melt can be lifted to the required level for a given application. The Jump system is a compact, quick and efficient alternative to conventional SSP (solid state) systems and enables direct reintroduction of the polymer into the production process without the need to remelt the PET.

Turn Key Solutions

Gneuss offers recycling lines for direct reprocessing and feeding of an extremely wide range of heavily contaminated production waste as well as for PET-Bottle-Flakes. Furthermore, Gneuss offers thermoforming sheet lines, that can be operated with recycled material and / or virgin material.
