History

Founded in 1978, the Domino Group employs more than 2,800 people and operates in over 120 countries. The company has manufacturing facilities in the UK, US, China, Germany, India, Sweden and Switzerland. Domino became an autonomous division within Brother Industries in 2015.

Domino received seven nominations at the 2019 The Manufacturer MX Awards, walking away with the ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ and ‘People and Skills’ accolades, and the runner-up prize for ‘Manufacturer of the Year’. This is the third year in a row that Domino has won awards at the event, after winning ‘Operational Excellence’ in 2018 and ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ in 2017.

Domino’s continued growth is underpinned by an unrivaled commitment to product development. In 2017, Domino Printing Sciences was honored with its sixth Queen’s Award – the UK’s most prestigious awards for business performance. This latest accolade is for the innovation of our A-Series i-Tech range of industrial continuous inkjet printers. Prior Queen’s Awards recognized Domino’s technological expertise, excellence in export and international trade.

In 2016, Domino’s 7-colour N610i digital inkjet label press won the European Digital Press Association’s award for Best Label Printer category.
