Company Profile

The EKOREC group was founded in 2012 as a key player in Spanish circular economy. A part of the industrial equipment and background came from extinguished textile facilities. EKOREC industrial recycling and PET transformation know-how was powered in 2021 by merging operation with the mother company BASCOTECNIA (EPC engineering group created in 1976). The resulting industrial group is a unique example of integrated circular economy adding recycling activities with PET transformation and engineering consultancy.

EKOREC is located in Andoain (Basque Country) and is known as a reference in plastic’s circular economy within Spain, especially in PET materials. Within the company's production process, sustainable materials and energy from their own Cogeneration Power Plant is used.
