The german company Intravis GmbH was founded in 1993 by Dr. Gerd Fuhrmann and is one of the market leaders for vision inspection systems for the plastic packaging industry. Intravis develops, manufactures and deliveres turnkey inspection systems for manufacturers of closures, bottles, preforms, thin-wall containers and decoration.
The company has more than 190 employees and operates subsidiaries in the Atlanta,USA and Shanghai, China as well as several global service offices.
